Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation as a driver with Artsy Motors Ltd ("Artsy Motors", "we", "us", or "our"). By joining the Artsy Programme and operating our vehicles, you agree to comply with the following terms:​

1. Service Overview
1.1. Artsy Motors provides rental vehicles to approved drivers for use on ride-hailing and delivery platforms.
1.2. Artsy Motors owns and retains full legal ownership of all vehicles provided under the Artsy Programme.
1.3. Drivers are permitted to use these vehicles during their assigned shifts under a week-to-week contract model.

2. Commission Structure
2.1. Artsy Motors charges a 25% gross commission on all driver earnings generated using an Artsy Motors vehicle.
2.2. This commission is deducted automatically from gross revenue (before expenses or taxes) earned through platform work during assigned shifts.

3. Shifts & Schedule
3.1. Each driver will be assigned to a day shift or night shift, each consisting of a 10-hour work period.
3.2. Drivers must commit to a minimum of one full week (7 days) of scheduled shifts.
3.3. At the end of each week, drivers will have the automatic option to renew their contract by opting in for the next week.
3.4. To exit the programme, drivers must provide written notice (via email or signed form) before the new week begins, indicating their intent not to renew and agreeing to return the vehicle and associated equipment.

4. Vehicle Responsibilities
4.1. Artsy Motors' responsibilities include:

Vehicle purchase and ownership

Insurance coverage (standard commercial policy)

Wear and tear maintenance

MOT, servicing, and road tax compliance

Breakdown cover and replacement vehicles if needed
4.2. Driver responsibilities include:

Keeping the vehicle clean (both interior and exterior)

Paying for any parking or traffic fines incurred during their shift

Reporting all damage or incidents immediately

Covering the cost of any damage deemed to be the driver’s fault

Cooperating with Artsy Motors for scheduled maintenance and inspections
4.3. In the event of damage not caused by driver negligence (e.g., third-party fault), Artsy Motors will handle repair costs and provide a courtesy car to avoid disruption.

5. Driver Conduct & Requirements
5.1. Drivers must hold a valid UK driver’s license and meet the eligibility requirements of any platform they use.
5.2. Drivers must not use the vehicle for illegal activity or allow unauthorised individuals to operate the vehicle.
5.3. Drivers must adhere to all traffic laws and platform-specific codes of conduct.
5.4. Drivers are expected to treat customers professionally and maintain a clean, safe driving environment.

6. Vehicle Return & Exit Procedure
6.1. At the end of a weekly contract (or upon earlier termination), the vehicle must be returned in acceptable condition and with a full tank of fuel (if provided full).
6.2. Failure to return the vehicle on time or in good condition may result in administrative fees or withheld payments.
6.3. The driver remains responsible for all obligations until the vehicle and keys are physically returned and acknowledged by Artsy Motors.

7. Termination & Suspension
7.1. Artsy Motors reserves the right to suspend or terminate a driver’s access to the programme with immediate effect if:

The driver violates these Terms

There is misuse or abuse of the vehicle

The driver fails to meet shift obligations or causes reputational harm

There is evidence of unsafe or illegal activity
7.2. Upon termination, the driver must immediately return all vehicles and equipment.

8. Insurance & Liability​​​​​​
8.1. All vehicles are insured under a commercial policy. However, the driver is liable for excess fees or uncovered losses where they are at fault.
8.2. In the event of an accident, the driver must:

Report the incident to Artsy Motors within 24 hours

Provide photographic evidence where possible

Cooperate fully with insurance investigations

9. Data & Monitoring
9.1. Vehicles may be equipped with GPS trackers and telematics to monitor location, driving behaviour, and vehicle condition.
9.2. By participating in the Artsy Programme, you consent to this data being collected and used for operational, safety, and compliance purposes.

10. Modification to Terms
10.1. Artsy Motors reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
10.2. Drivers will be notified of material changes via email or the company portal. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
